Hi, I'm Jonathan, nice to meet you! Do you wanna know more about me and my story? With pleasure and no worries, I'll keep it short :) I'm born in 1990 and raised in the rural area of Schäbisch Hall. Like many young people, I was really confused after school, which is why I started to study law. Even though it was interesting, I realized that I wanna work creatively within Technology. That's why I enrolled in Interaction Design, but I had no idea what it was. All I knew, that it has something to do with the Internet. Well, luckily I figured out it's more. During my studies at HfG in Schwäbisch Gmünd, I learned the basics of "User Centered Design" by iterating on projects in small teams.
I made my first steps as an intern at Intuity Media Lab in Stuttgart and earned my first money with design, yay! After university, I moved to Munich in 2014 and worked for Neustart Media Lab, a small and innovative firm. There I had the chance working with a huge variety of great companies in different industries, like Mobility, Finance, Insurance, Travel & Housing. I like applying the "Design Thinking" mindset, that's why I'm giving courses within a lectureship at HfG Schwäbisch Gmünd on a weekly basis since 2016. I think that learning never stops and looking at my first projects, I get reminded why.

Because I discovered a passion to work in early phases of a project (strategy & definition), my interest into "Business Design" started to grow recently, which is why I attended a MBA program where we learned more about different approaches to analyze industries, develop business strategies and derive implications for the product. I'm still practicing applying that knowledge into my process as a designer. To gain further exeriences and to bring my "Service Design" skills to the next level, I decided to start something new and joined Futurice in 2019, where I'm still working at the moment. Hopefully we'll meet one day or even create something cool and useful together, I'd appreciate it! See you,
